Grand Central
On a Carnival cruise your vacation starts in the atrium, and on Mardi Gras® that's in the Grand Central zone. By the way... on this ship the atrium's different. Don't be surprised if you step inside and the first place you want to look is upwards. Up there are high ceilings that hint at even more fun living on the three decks above! But look around down here too... you'll find floor-to-ceiling windows that really bring in the ocean views. Of course you'll be back here throughout your cruise, taking a break with a nice cup of coffee or a menu of great food choices at JavaBlue™ Café, enjoying performances up on stage, or killing time fabulously at the Grand View Bar. Just wait until the sun goes down and the space slips into evening dress, transforming into an amazing show venue after dark! In Grand Central you're never far from great dining spots like Bonsai Sushi™ and Bonsai Teppanyaki™, plus feel-good entertainment like Piano Bar 88™ and The Punchliner Comedy Club™.
French Quarter
If "big" and "easy" sound about right for your vacation, you might just make the French Quarter on Mardi Gras® your home zone. What inspired this area is no less than New Orleans itself… and if all this talk of NOLA has you half as hungry as we are, you’ll be pleased to hear that our French Quarter is lined with bars and eateries worthy of their namesake. For one thing there’s the spectacularly, authentically delicious Emeril’s Bistro 1396™, developed in partnership with yes-that-Emeril. Just steps away is entertainment clearly influenced by the world-renowned Crescent City nightlife — yep, The Brass Magnolia bar features not only great drinks but also hot jazz, live. What’s more, you’re just steps away from sipping mystically at the Fortune Teller bar, and definitely save time to browse some funky little shops.
Summer Landing
Go ahead and call Summer Landing 'the greatest chill spot at sea'... and we'll be right there with you, any time of year! What's three letters long and goes great with chilling outdoors? BBQ, so we're building a Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse™ into this zone so it always tastes like summer here with freshly-smoked faves designed by Guy Fieri and original Parched Pig® beers brewed just feet away. If you're wondering where the pool and whirlpool are, we're so alike, you and us... and that's why we're sure you're gonna love The Watering Hole, a poolside bar we're building for aficionados of backyard-style relaxation. And for military folks — or folks who just want to raise a glass to them — please report to Heroes Tribute™ Lounge for great service. We know you guys like soft serve too, so we're throwing in a Swirls™ location — one of two! And why wouldn't we? At Summer Landing, fun this cool is literally always in season.
Experience a carefree cruise — from the time you leave, until you're back home — with the Carnival Vacation Protection™. In fact, the benefits begin before your trip even starts.
Bundle your cruise with your flights, Cruise line protection, flight times designed for cruisers, peace of mind all great reasons to take advantage of Fly2Fun
1. Emergency travel flexibility
If you get sick, miss the ship, or need to fly home from a foreign port, you cannot fly internationally with just a birth certificate. Airlines require a passport for international flights.
2. Some itineraries require it
Closed‑loop cruises (start and end at the same U.S. port) often allow birth certificates, but:
Alaska cruises that stop in Canada
Open‑jaw cruises (start and end in different ports)
International itineraries all require a passport.
itinerary passport requirements: Rules vary by destination and port.
3. Government and cruise lines say it’s the “best” ID
Royal Caribbean explicitly states: “Passports are best” because they’re universally accepted and reduce complications.
4. Birth certificates can cause issues
Not all birth certificates are accepted—some must be official, raised‑seal, or long‑form versions.
5. Requirements can change
Countries can update entry rules at any time. A passport keeps you covered even if something shifts before you sail.
Your registration application is considered a request and submission does not guarantee a cabin. Upon receipt of your registration application, we will check availability of your cabin type preferences before confirming whether or not you are registered. If both your cabin type preferences are sold out, we will place you on the waiting list. For those who submit their registration form, please allow 48 hours for us to reply and once your confirmation email has been sent out to you, payment must be received within 24 hours to hold you place.

First and second choice cabin selection (this avoids having to go on the waitlist if your only choice is not available)
Will you be wanting a room with the group at the hotel the night before the cruise? Names and how many will be in the room?
Will you require the shuttles to the cruise terminal and then back to the airport for an additional fee? $65.00 USD per person, this includes both ways.
Once you are ready to book, please fill out the registration form and allow 48 hours for a response. This does not secure you a place on the ship.
Once we have confirmed your place, we will send you an invoice for your fare along with the future payment schedule. We send invoices via email to the address you list on your registration form. You have 24 hours to return your credit card authorization form which will then secure your space on the ship.

If you are a US citizen and you don’t have one yet, visit https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html to find out how to get started.
If you already have one, make sure it will be valid for at least 6 months after the cruise ends.
