We offer your choice of stateroom configurations on a first-come, first-served basis. All cabins have two twin beds that convert to a king. They also include a hair dryer, TV, phone, and 110/220 electrical outlets. We have a limited number of each cabin type in our group inventory.
We only accept payments in US and Canadian dollars by credit card.
For each cabin type all prices include the cruise fare, all taxes and port fees and gratuities, event fee, swag bag, two group excursions, 1 group photo, cocktail party and a whole lot of fun.
Travel insurance, drink packages, specialty dining, onboard shopping or gambling and shore excursions (outside of our two group excursions) during our ports of call are not included in the fares listed.
The event fee includes all group events, two excursions and the Incredible Snake Discovery Swag Bag.
If you are traveling with a companion who does not plan to participate in the group events and does not want the Snake Discovery Swag Bag please let me know in the comment section of your registration form and that persons name and the price can be adjusted accordingly.

We have included a limited number of cabins that can accommodate up to four passengers. Upon request, we are happy to adjust the billing so that everyone in the cabin pays the same amount simply by adding the various amounts and finding the average. With that in mind these cabins are limited and available on a to come first serve basis.

Your invoice will be for the full fare amount, divided into 4 payments. The first payment is your $300 per person non-refundable deposit, due within 48 hours of the invoice. We divide the balance due after you pay your deposit into three payments, which will be processed on the following dates March 20th, 2025, May 20th, 2025 and your final payment is due on July 20th, 2025. An email reminder will be sent out a week before each payment is processed.
If you are not paying the deposit for all occupants of your cabin, then your cabin mate(s) must submit a registration form within 7 days of your registration or the organizers reserve the right to release your cabin. If you have not yet arranged to share your cabin, then you may register and a cabin will be held for you at the discretion of the organizers. Until all people in a cabin pay their deposit(s), the cabin is under a tentative hold and is not taken from the group inventory.

Join us the night before our cruise for a get together at a hotel to be determined. Price is based on hotel room double occupancy and can be adjusted and includes airport shuttle upon arrival to Miami, dinner with a non- alcoholic drink, gathering space from 6:00-10:00pm and then breakfast the next morning. $145.00 USD per person based on double occupancy $260 for solo occupancy. If flying in and staying with the group at the hotel shuttles will be available for a fee of $35.00 USD per person (this includes shuttle both ways) from the hotel in Miami to the cruise terminal and also available upon return from the cruise terminal to the Miami airport. These are chartered motor coaches. The prices are secured for a limited time and subject to availability and increase.
Two absolutely incredible excursions are included in this already amazing cruise. First stop is beautiful Cozumel Mexico where we will be picked up by bus and taken to where conservation specialist work to protect the native sea turtle species that include the Hawkbill, Green, Loggerhead and Kemp’s Ridley. We will spend a few hours with biologists to help any turtles that may be stuck in the nest and help release them into the ocean. This is roughly a 3-hour excursion and includes transportation. Lunch or snacks are not included. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunblock, sun glasses and you will probably want your phone or camera. The bus will take us back to the cruise port where you will have time to eat, shop and explore the ports marketplace.
Next stop is Mahogany Bay, Roatan where we will be picked up at the cruise port by bus and taken to a hands on animal encounter. Hug a sloth, Feed a monkey and and even get your photo taken with a macaw. Next we are off to the islands Iguana park where you get to interact with baby iguanas. You will have many opportunities to take photos and learn about this species. We then have a quick stop for lunch (lunch or snacks are not included in this excursion) and are returned back to the cruise port where you will have time to shop and walk around the port. This is approximately a 5-hour excursion. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunblock, sun glasses and you will probably want your phone or camera.
Snake Discovery at Sea At Sea Cancellation Policy
In the event you have to cancel for any reason, the following refund schedule will be in effect:
Cruise Line Cancellation Penalty
August 6th 2025: $250 penalty per person and your $300 non-refundable deposit.
September 10th 2025: 50% of cruise fare and your $300 non-refundable deposit.
October 6th 2025: 75% of cruise fare and your $300 non-refundable deposit.
On or after October 21st 2025: No refund, subject to full penalty.
Event Fee, Hotel, Transfers and Excursions are all NON-REFUNDABLE once booked
We have included a limited number of cabins that can accommodate up to four passengers. We will try to keep a list of people who want to come and are seeking roommates. However, we encourage you to use your own network and social media to find a roommate. Our Snake Discovery at Sea Facebook group is a good way to let it be known that you want to join the cruise and are looking for someone to share a cabin.
We are able to provide special benefits on this Snake Discovery at Sea cruise that are not available on an individual reservation. However, this means fare discounts offered by Carnival are not allowed under our contract. You must register through Sand In My Soul Vacations to participate in this group cruise.

Your registration application is considered a request and submission does not guarantee a cabin. Upon receipt of your registration application, we will check availability of your cabin type preference before confirming whether or not you are registered. If both your cabin type preferences are sold out, we will place you on the waiting list. For those who submit their form before noon Eastern time on Sunday, February 12th, we will send an email confirmation to the primary registrant on Sunday, February 12th. After that, please allow us up to 7 business days for a response.

Once you are ready to book, please fill out the registration form and allow 48 hours for a response. This does not secure you a place on the ship.
Once we have confirmed your place, we will send you an invoice for your fare along with the future payment schedule. We send invoices via email to the address you list on your registration form. You have 48 hours to return your credit card authorization form which will then secure your space on the ship.

Minor Guest Policy: Effective February 1, 2025

Traveling with Minors:
When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security. Exceptions: Guests ages 18-20 may travel without a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older under the following conditions:
This program is strictly limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Early booking is strongly recommended to ensure tour availability. Maximum number of passengers will be 83 staterooms. In the unlikely event that we do not reach our minimum by April 1st, the tour will be cancelled, and monies refunded in full prior to the final payment date.

Items of a personal nature such as meals not mentioned in itinerary, local or long-distance phone calls, laundry, room service charges, beverages, entrance fees not mentioned in itinerary, baggage handling, visas, insurance, gratuities etc.
TAXES
Airline government fees, fuel surcharges and taxes are included in the air inclusive rate. Additional fees may be implemented at any time or taxes and or fuel surcharges can increase at any time. We reserve the right to collect any increases in government fees and taxes in effect at the time of departure.
NAMES
All names provided to Sand In My Soul Vacations must be identical to how they appear on the passport. Penalties of $50 per person will apply to names that require spelling changes after tickets have been issued. Name substitutions are permitted pending Carnival Cruise Lines approval.
INSURANCE
At the time of booking, you will have received an insurance waiver form along with suggested reliable insurance providers. Insurance is not mandatory but strongly suggested. We strongly recommend Manulife Travel Insurance for Canadians and John Handcock Travel Insurance for US Citizens.
TRIP CANCELLATION PENALTIES
Sand In My Soul Vacations must receive all cancellation requests in writing. The following cancellation penalties will apply:

SPECIAL NOTE
Travel dates may be during religious, state or local holidays. These holidays, with their associated closures, may disrupt attraction visits and personal shopping. We make every effort to minimize disruptions during the tour, however, we cannot be held responsible for attractions being closed.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Valid Passport is required. It is recommended that your passport be valid for at least 6 months after you scheduled return date.
In all cases, identification must match exactly with the full name on all travel documents. It is also essential that you examine your passport well before your travel date to ensure that it is not damaged in any way.
Passports with even minor damage may be rejected resulting in your being denied boarding for flights and possible forfeiture of your holiday.
Anyone travelling on a passport other than a Canadian Passport should advise Sand In My Sol Vacations to ensure proper documentation.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of Sand In My Soul Vacations employees, tour leaders and agents whilst on tour with Sand In My Soul vacations.
If the opinion of any such person (s) or any other person in a position of authority (such as, for example, an airline pilot or hotel manager, tour guide), the health, level of fitness or conduct of a client at any time before or during a tour is endangering or appears likely to endanger the health or wellbeing of the client or any third party (including any other clients of Sand In My Soul Vacations) or the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour, the client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without refund or recompense.
Where a client is excluded, Sand In My Soul Vacations will have no further responsibility towards them (including any return travel arrangements) and we will not meet any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the exclusion.
In the case of ill heath, Sand In My Soul Vacations may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the client.
If a client commits an illegal act (including, for example, causing any damage) the client may be excluded from the tour and Sand In My Soul Vacations shall cease to have responsibility to/for them as above.
No refund will be given for any unused services. When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be made direct to the accommodation owner or manager or other supplier or to us as soon as costs are known.
If you have any medical condition or disability which may affect your active participation in your tour or the tour arrangements of any other person or have any special requirements as a result of any medical condition or disability, please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the proposed tour. You must give us full details at the time of booking and whenever any change in the condition or disability occurs. You must also promptly advise us if any medical condition or disability which may affect your active participation in the tour develops after your booking has been confirmed.
FORCE MAJEURE
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any injury, damage, loss or expense of any nature as a result lf “force Majeure”. In these conditions, “force Majeure” means any event which Sand In my Soul Vacations or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside our control.
CHANGES TO TRAVEL SERVICES
Sand In My Soul Vacations reserves the right to change any of the facilities, accommodations or services when deemed necessary. If Sand In My Soul Vacations is required to make a major change the client will be informed as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before departure. It is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or event or any other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sand In My Soul Vacations act only as agent and/or intermediary for the independent suppliers and other contractors providing transportation, accommodations and other travel related services. Sand In My Soul Vacations assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, loss, accident with any services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, strikes, war declared or undeclared, government regulation, thefts, failure of any means discrepancies or change over which we have no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made when necessary for the comfort and safety of the tour participants. Any extra cost in such cases is the responsibility of the tour participants. The transportation companies are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their vehicles. The operator shall not be responsible for any delays, substitutions of equipment or any act or omission whatsoever by the carrier, its agents, servants and employees, and the participant waives any claim arising there from. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all programs, should conditions warrant, and also to decline or retain any passenger(s) as members of the program. In such instances, full equitable amount(s) will be refunded. The right of the participant is reserved to claims against the suppliers. All claims against suppliers must be filed within 30 days after the tour completion. Sand In My Soul Vacations, hereby advise that, in the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being of the passengers, or for any reason whatsoever to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alteration(s) may be made without penalty to the operator(s). Additional expenses, if any, shall be born by the client. Conversely, a refund will be made to the client, if any saving is (are) affected. There may be different living standards, practices and conditions, and different standards in respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodations you may encounter outside Canada/US.

Yes, you will need to make your own travel arrangement to get Miami. We have a block of rooms on hold at the Holiday Inn West Miami for the night before the cruise. Rooms are on a first come first serve basis and the hotel can recall any or all rooms at any time. We will provide plenty of detail on all these topics as we get closer to the sailing date. Your passport will also need to have a minimum of three blank pages, one for each country on the itinerary. It’s better to be safe than sorry, so check your expiration date and number of blank pages, and start the renewal process if needed!
